The Sidonge Resource Center was established in 2019. Our mission is to provide a vibrant facility for discovery, literacy and knowledge. We are dedicated to empowering the Sidonge community in Western Kenya, Busia County to connect and thrive.

Under the leadership of Josphat Mangeni, Library Director and Maria Burpee, Fundraising Director, we have finished construction of the library and have begun to stock the library with books.

YOUR DONATIONS

NEW AND USED BOOKS

With your generous donations, we buy books in English, Kiswahili and Luya for children and adults including Primary and Secondary School Reference materials

JOBS AND EQUIPMENT

We employ a full time Librarian and hope to hire more (to cover evenings and weekends). Your donations help fund their salaries as well as equipment like computers, shelving and lighting.
